Salman Khan: Best Comic Actor Of 2011
Salman Khan might be the in-thing in Bollywood today for his action packed entertaining movies starting from Wanted. But interestingly, he isn’t bagging the spot of an action hero but a comic one. A website conducted a poll to know the comic actor of 2011 and Salman Khan was unanimously selected. Now, the question remains, is Salman really the comedy king of Bollywood, a throne left barren for years now after Govinda went haywire?
The competition, if not fierce, was pretty strong with Imran Khan from Delhi Belly and Akshay Kumar-John Abraham duo from Desi Boyz contesting with Salman Khan from Bodyguard. Predictably, Salman won with 46% votes! He was adjudged the most adorable comic actor of the industry. Salman’s comical antics in Bodyguard were more amusing than an abusive Imran Khan and over-the-top Akshay-John.
If you think its only Bodyguard that made Salman claim the top spot, than you are wrong. Salman’s spell over the television screens have also made him everyone’s favourite star. His subtle jokes on Bigg Boss and animated antics on Dus Ka Dum earlier also gained him much popularity. So, he is the comedy king of this year.
Therefore, if you want your movie to hit the jackpot, sign up Sallu and unleash him in front of the camera. Rest he will manage with his comic action feat as Salman Khan Movies don’t generally have a story but just himself!
